Spring (April–May)
Cherry and apricot blossoms cover Hunza. Days are mild and nights are cool — bring a warm jacket.
Summer (June–August)
The best time for Fairy Meadows, Deosai Plains and Khunjerab Pass. All roads are open and lakes are at their bluest.
Autumn (September–November)
Golden poplars and clear skies make this the favourite season for photographers. Fewer crowds, great hotel rates.
Winter (December–March)
Snowy and peaceful. Some high passes close, but Hunza winter tours and snow festivals are magical.
